Irrawang Public School offers a range of spaces, equipment, and resources to support student learning and extra curricular activities. Whether for study, sport, creativity or technology, we offer the tools all students need to succeed.

Our school facilities

We provide a variety of learning environments that help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:

• air conditioned, well-resourced classrooms

• a well-stocked library for reading and research

• a preschool, 12 mainstream classes and 3 support classes

• fixed equipment and purpose-built playgrounds for fitness and fun

• art, music and performances spaces that inspire creativity

• yarning circle, bush tucker garden and garden spaces for outdoor learning
• community room to strengthen partnerships and celebrate diversity

Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.

Our bright and comfortable classrooms, each with dedicated laptop hubs and fully resourced learning materials, provide an engaging environment where students can thrive. These spaces are designed to support focused learning, collaboration and creativity, ensuring every student has access to the tools they need for success.

Our welcoming school library is a vibrant space designed to inspire a love of reading, research and discovery. With a wide range of books, digital resources and comfortable study areas, students can explore their interests, build literacy skills and enjoy a quiet, supportive environment for learning.

Our Community Room is a warm and inclusive space used to host school events, celebrations and learning experiences that deepen students’ understanding of culture. It provides a welcoming environment where families, staff and students can come together to share stories, participate in activities and build meaningful connections across our school community.

We offer large, dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support a wide range of sport and physical activities. Our well-equipped facilities give students room to move, practise skills and stay active in all weather conditions. From courts and fields to specialised equipment, everything is set up to help students build confidence, stay healthy and enjoy physical activity throughout their school day.

Our school features an every changing, vibrant school garden designed to support learning, wellbeing and hands-on life skills. Our thoughtfully maintained spaces give students the chance to plant, grow and experiment as they build confidence and resilience. From tending seedlings to harvesting fresh produce and using it in simple cooking activities, everything is set up to help students connect with nature, understand where food comes from and enjoy the satisfaction of growing something themselves.
