Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.

We do this through:

School counsellor

There is a school counsellor who visits our school each week to support students and provide advice to students, teachers and parents. Counselling may be arranged after contact with the parent.

Thou-Walla Family Centre

The Thou-Walla Family Centre is located in the school grounds and has a variety of activities held throughout the year. The centre coordinator, Gina Ascott-Evans can be contacted on 4987 4666.
